A man rides past a big rock which is inhabited by fairies. Beautiful fairy maidens step forward and try to lure him into the rock. He resists the temptation and tells them that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Master. One of the maidens asks him for a farewell-kiss and when he leans towards her she wounds him fatally with a knife. The Icelandic dance “Vikivaki” was danced to this song.
